Working alongside 4th graders at Laura Rodriguez Elementary has altered my life. I have learned a lot from my mentor and the students. Everyone is so full of life, especially the students. Everyday when I enter class everyone is so happy to see me. The students always yell my name with joy. Everyone seems to really like each other in room 404. I've interacted with most students and they are all wonderful children with great character. Whenever I speak to the students they ask questions that I would never think of asking when I was their age. My mentor has made education a little more challenging and due to this her students have more intuition that I've seen any 4th grader have. My time as an intern has changed my perspective on teach. I used to dream on joining teach and teaching the young all there is to know about life and education. Yet this month I have realized that the teaching career is not exactly for me.PrintingMy five selfies:
